PIC E10224 Identical Alternative: GF224A-5E
PIC’s E10224 is designed to deliver 10/100Base-T Gigabit performance in accordance to ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 and exceeds CAT 5e requirements. GIGAFLIGHT’s GF224A-5E is an identical alternative to E10224.
GIGAFLIGHT’s GF224A-5E uses the same materials and has the same electrical performance, size, weight, connector usage and applications as the E10224.
The smaller overall diameter increases flexibility and provides weight and cost savings all while preserving performance and operating conditions. With a 100% foil and 90% round wire braided shield, this design provides ample strength and protection against EMI (electromagnetic interference) in the vast majority of applications.
GF224A-5E – like the E10224 – is suitable for airborne 10/100 Base-T CAT5e Local Area Network (LAN) applications including:
- Cabin Management Systems (CMS)
- In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC)
- Ethernet backbones
